New British Music Theatre (NBMT) is an artist-led initiative to bring together and showcase the best artists making music-driven theatre of all styles across the UK.
Set up in 2016 by ERRATICA director Patrick Eakin Young, NBMT aims to help identify and promote the wealth of hard-to-categorise work currently emerging from the UK's festivals, progressive theatres, independent artists and companies.
The eleven NBMT artists and companies were selected by an esteemed panel of producers and curators, to represent the British music theatre scene at the Music Theatre NOW meeting in Rotterdam 2016, at the invitation of Guy Coolen, Artistic Director of Operadagen.
